2005 OkHIMA Outstanding Member

2004 OkHIMA Outstanding Member
The Oklahoma Health Information Management Association is proud to announce this year’s outstanding member. Every year the association’s membership nominates people for this prestigious award. The nominations are reviewed and voted on by the association’s board of directors. This year’s Outstanding Member is Marion Prichard, RHIA.
2004 OkHIMA Scholarship Recipients
The Oklahoma Health Information Management Association is proud to announce the recipients of the 2004 OkHIMA Scholarships. Every year, Travis Voice & Data donates money to the association to distribute for scholarships. This year’s recipients were as follows: Cynthia Meier from Tulsa Community College, Crystal VanCuren from East Central University, Mary Tardiff from Rose State College, and Denise Willis from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

2002 OkHIMA Outstanding Member
The Oklahoma Health Information Management Association is proud to announce this year’s outstanding member. Every year the association’s membership nominates people for this prestigious award. The nominations are reviewed and voted on by the association’s board of directors. This year’s Outstanding Member is Glennda Gore, RHIA.
Glennda was presented with the award at the association’s fall meeting in September 2002 which was held in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Doubletree Hotel. Ms. Gore was selected this year’s winner due to her outstanding achievements in the Health Information Management field. She has been published by Medical Records Briefing a couple of times and will have future articles published in HCPRO, Healthcare Risk Manager, again in Medical Records Briefing, and an upcoming Glossary of HIPAA Terms with HCPRO. Glennda has been the Director of HIM at McAlester Regional Health Center for the past 8 years and has taught Medical Terminology and Medical Office Procedures at Eastern Oklahoma State College for 2 years.
Mr. Jendrome, the CFO at McAlester Regional Health Center and Mr. Tate, the hospital administrator were at the meeting to congratulate Ms. Gore first hand.
