The coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic now tests us in an unprecedented way. The health and safety of our volunteers and event attendees is our top priority. With numerous confirmed cases in the region and the understanding that cases will rise exponentially as testing becomes widely available, COVID-19 has escalated into a public health emergency that disrupts our mission and ability to maintain our upcoming 2020 Annual OkHIMA Convention and Vendor Trade Show in a safe way.
Due to the health and safety concerns arising from COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 OkHIMA Convention and Vendor Trade Show that was initially scheduled for April 23-24th. The next OkHIMA Convention will be planned for Spring 2021. We apologize greatly for any inconvenience this may cause you. It certainly was not the outcome we were hoping for, but we hope to bring a bigger, better conference in 2021 to make up for the cancellation.
What Happens Next?
If you are a registered attendee, you should have received an email Friday, March 13th regarding the refund process. Please give us time to process all refunds as our board is composed of volunteers who are working diligently to process everything quickly , but it will take 3-6 weeks to get everything finished. BEFORE YOU CONTACT YOUR CREDIT CARD VENDOR OR DISPUTE ANY CHARGES PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST!
